Need a little advice

My best friend and I will be going to WDW in March for Spring Break! We are 24 & 25 years old (if this helps any) and have made our ADRs. Well, I made them. This is her first time to ever go to WDW so she's left everything up to me. I have secured ADRs at Chef Mickey's for breakfast and then dinners at Teppan Edo, Kona, Tutto Italia, Les Chefs de France, Coral Reef, 50s PTC and Le Cellier. I am a little iffy on the Coral Reef reservation. I've been there and wasn't impressed...anyone have a suggestion to replace it with? Also, never been to 50s PTC. Not so sure that the ribbing and teasing is quite up our alley. Is there anywhere great in/near Hollywood Studios for dinner? We want to catch Fantasmic but aren't sure what to do for dinner. We are on the DDP.

50's PT is awesome and you can tell them to go easy on the antics and they will.

We are going back to Coral Reef in 18 days and I have heard very mixed reviews but we are going to give it a go anyways...we ate there about 11 years ago and enjoyed it so I hope we do again...I say give it a try

I must say I loathe the Prime Time with the schtick. But I admit I am in the minority around here

I believe we're among the minority, too. We really, really enjoy Hollywood and Vine in combo with the Fantasmic Dinner Package. Nothing special just plain old, good food with average service and decent desserts.... plus 1 table service credit though if booking the package, this needs to be reserved with your credit card.

We enjoyed Mama Melrose although I admit we would probably eat somewhere elese if it wasn't for wanting to be at DHS in the evening for Fantasmic.

If you're looking for "nice" at DHS, then definitely Brown Derby; although you could dine at the boardwalk and not be too far away; there's lots of choice there, too I like Spoodles. One question, you've booked all but one night at Epcot; do you really want to be there every night? I love it as much as the next gal, but that's a lot of travel. I would recommend Boma or Jiko for your AK day. Boma is fun, but a buffet (we love it) Jiko is more upscale. For once in a lifetime fun factor, maybe CRT for dinner? It's not character driven like the breakfast/lunch; but it doesn't get more "Disney" than the castle.

There are NOT a lot of choices at the Studios. We always do the Fantasmic Package at Mama Melrose--a cute Italian restaurant. We've always had great service and good food. It is not gourmet, but it is a good meal. We refuse to ever eat at H&V again (you couldn't pay us to eat there) and were unimpressed with Brown Derby on our first visit and have not tried it a second time--don't want to use two table service credits when there are many other places that we do love to eat. We've not done 50's Prime Time or Sci-Fi Dine In for many years, but we always enjoyed our meals there. They are, however, not part of the Fantasmic Package. At the recommendation of one of the posters on here, we will probably NOT do the Fantasmic Package and go to Spoodles for dinner this year and just wait in line for Fantasmic.
