I have to say this, as stupid and mushy as it's going to sound.

Just seeing a photo of Julia with those chicks, especially with her brother in the background kind of watching over her, just makes me smile from ear to ear. What is it about that precious little girl that is so enchanting? Her smile? Her infectious wit that seems to radiate from her photos? I have no clue, all I know is she's one special kid and I'm very thankful to be able to share even this little bit in her life.

I know exactly what you mean. From the very first time I saw her picture I was hooked. Doesn't hurt that my daughter Tara looked a bit like she does when she was that age.

And I have to be at work at 4:30 tomorrow morning, but cute pictures always make me feel better. However Julia also reminded me that I want fried chicken for dinner, so lets not mention that to her.

There's this new thing called an iPod....

It was my ipod boombox. Its a little thing about 3 pounds maybe, and I didnt hurt myself lifting it, I literally was pulling a plug from the wall. This so shortly after I turned 30, getting old really sucks.

How did you cope with it Wally?
