Need a Flat Stanley from across the pond...PLEASE!!!

My 10 year old DD informed me an hour ago that the addresses for her gifted programs Flat Stanley project are due tomorrow!!!! They were supposed to be due next week, but the teacher moved it up a week. My DD has been sick for the last 2 days and she didn't find out herself until 8:00 pm. For some reason, she forgot to tell me for a couple of hours.

Anyway, if you live overseas, we would really appreciate it if you could be a recipient of Flat Stanley and be willing to take a picture of yourself and Stanley and send it back. (By something cool, DD added) I will, of course send a SASE to return him in. The only friend we have overseas moved and we don't have her forwarding address, or we wouldn't be in such a pickle. On overseas address is a big bonus on her project.

I received no less than 14 offers to be a Flat Stanley recipient. My daughter is over the moon. Well, not right now because her hand's cramping up from writing down all those addresses. She begged me to stop after 8 but I made her do a couple more anyway. Totally for not believing me when I told her I could help her by posting on the DISboards.

I quote, "It's a WDW website. Mom. WDW's in Florida, you know"
She's just now beginning to understand that there's a world out there that does not revolve around her And that WDW is a HUGE deal, all over the world. Um, it's not called the happiest place on Earth for no reason

Anyway, she had responses form Ireland, England (several), Australia, Chile, Qatar, Iraq, and Germany. Plus, she has addresses for the US from Kansas, Texas, Florida, Iowa, Alabama, North Carolina, South Dakota, and New York. If she doesn't get a good grade on this project, then I'll be shocked.

Stanley(s) should be mailed out in the next 2 weeks, along with a little letter. I appreciate all the responses. Have a good night ya'll!!!

Hi ya'll. Just an update. I emailed DD's teacher yesterday to find out if all the Flat Stanleys had been mailed, after I received a few freindly "Where's Stanley PM's?". She informed me that she decided to ONLY send out 1 Stanley per child and did not tell the students or the parents. So I asked for DD's Stanleys back and I will be sending them out myself as soon as I get them back. Well, to be hnest I found out a few days ago but I was on vacation and put it off until I got back. Anyway, I will update as soon as I get the stuff back from the teacher and send them out. Thanks again!!!
