To make a long story short, we may be having a short little family get together at OKW.

We have a GV booked but need to throw together some snack foods and such for around 30 (on the very high side) people give or take.

Where can we order some snack (we will have a car) and try to do this as economically as possible?

Thanks

P.S. any tips on what we could do to make this as painless as possible would be greatly appreciated (i.e maybe OKW has a good gather point in lieu of the room)

Thanks again.

Just another side note that I should have mentioned. This is kind of a pre-wedding get together for my cousin and her soon to be hubby and family.

Wouldn't mind throwing a few decorations up, but we need to do it quick and as budget conscious as we can.

What kind of snacks? Chips and pretzel type stuff or more appetizer type stuff, pizza, ect...

I think it was Kevin who said the fried chicken at Publix is very good and pretty cheap. $6.99 a bucket. And I know there is a Walmart pretty close or does anyone have a Sam's Club membership? You could get a variety of things there for snacks, appetizer type stuff at Sam's for sure.

I'm trying to think where you could have 30 people at OKW with food. If you are having more than chip and pretzel type snacks though, it'd be way easier to gather at your GV. It might be quite a pain to haul alot of stuff, plus you'd have access to the kitchen and bathrooms at your GV. I don't remember ever seeing a picnic/outdoor type area at OKW big enough for that many people.

I remember Gooding Grocery store having cheese platters. But that was a while back. It is located at the crossroads shopping center. They had a full scale grocery store but it was a little on the high side.

More of an appetizer kind of deal.

I am just wondering how many people could fit comfortably in a GV just mingling.

Publix has a great variety of party trays to fit most budgets. They are very accomodating.

The grand villa could probably be okay for 30 who are mingling, especially if there are younger kids who will be running around. There is seating for about 12 in the living room between dining chairs, chairs, and couch. It is a very open floor plan. I suggest taking a look at allearsnet.com for pictures. Have a great time!

I worry about serving ware for 30 people... I would make sure you buy plastic cups, plates, silverware, etc.
