Help!

Leaving in the morning and realized I have 4 tags and 5 bags. Is it OK to cut one tag in half and use on 2 bags. The bar codes would be present on each bag. This was suggested by CM when I called. Am I playing with fire?

Do you have two inch wide transparent package wrapping and sealing tape?

You would need to laminate the half tag otherwise the ends may be too short to stay stuck together and then it falls off completely..

You don't actually need a yellow tag at all. All you need to do is give the claim check for the one bag that does NOT have a yellow tag to the DME CM when you check in at DME. They will collect that bag for you and deliver it just like normal. These instructions are spelled out in the paperwork that came with your yellow tags, and is a very commonly used option. DME does this many, many times a day, every day and have been doing so since 2005.

Yes, cut one tag in half and use as two separate tags. Just make sure you secure it well and that the barcodes on both can easily be scanned. It is done all the time.

Thank you for your promt responses. I think I will attempt both options!

There have been a few threads on this in the past few days – the advice given here is fine.
