How long did she have the name Fannie? We had a persian hymalian that we called Kitty so long while trying to pick a name, he would not consider any other name then Mr. Kitty, or kitty, or K for short...

I just lost him this past Tuesday after 18 years. I miss him soooo bad. His empty bed is still in its spot. There are still 4 more cats of my dd that I took in when she passed away. they are like my grandchildren. She was 14 when Kitty came to us.

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions.. I tried each of them out on her but Snow White was the winner!

Disney name
(that anyone would recognize as a Disney Name)
and it does seem to fit her perfectly ​

Ironically we adopted two kittens the same day you started this thread. Both white with color points (one black one gray). The black one was named Cruella by her foster owner, but she was too much a sweetie to deserve that name. We toyed with Disney names ourselves, but the only twin sisters we could name of cat origin are Si and Am from Lady and the Tramp. We didn't want to give them such mischievous monikers. So we went with Bella and Cricket.

Ours are 5 mos old, twin sisters. How old is Snow White?

She was a stray before being brought to the shelter, the vet who spayed her said she was about 3 years... but she could be a bit younger too.

Cricket is the gray/white one in front sitting and studying her subject very patiently. Bella is the black/white one gnawing on the door behind her (not really, she's just scratching her chin but her personality is more of a daredevil/troublemaker).

So nice that you adopted an older cat. Poor things just want a warm place to call home. Is she outgoing and friendly or still skittish/afraid? Our last cat (died last year after 15 years) was a feral kitten we rescued. She never quite lost her feral fear of people. She loved us but always hid whenever someone else visited.
