I need a good recommendation for a TS dinner. It needs to be 1 credit and either at DTD or a resort. :)

We really like Kouzzina at the Boardwalk. Kona at the Polynesian is good too. We've only done lunch there, though.

O'Hana at the Poly is my family favorite! Food is delish & there is entertainment for the kids (coconut racing & dancing) :thumbsup2

We need more information to make a good recommendation. I could recommend my favorite and your tastes are totally different and you would hate it.
Who is in your party? Adults, Children - ages? What kinds of food do you like? Are you adventourous or a "meat and potato" kind of family? What type of experience are you looking for - quiet and romantic, lively and participatory, "Disneyish",? Where are you staying and do you have a car? What time do you like to eat?
Just a few questions to help us help you.

and possibly Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge. Both are good and you can see the resort. The Wave at the Contemporary has good choices also.

I am going to 'Ohana. It is all you can eat deliciousness and the ambiance is fantastic!

Combining the resort and DTD request, consider the resorts that are a boat ride from DTD. Saratoga Springs, Port Orleans Resorts, Old Key West.

Agree with earlier post, more information is needed to pick a specific restaurant.

There will be 4 of us: me, DH, DD-10, DS-7. We love to eat out, so we are open to anything. We're staying at POR and will have a car, so transportation isn't an issue. We're on DxDP and will be looking at a ressie around 7:30-8:00. We'll be at Universal that day, but are returning for dinner.

Here are our other dinner ADRs:
Wolfgang Puck Cafe
Sanaa
50's Prime Time
'Ohana

Looking at Cape May, Flying Fish, Raglan Road and Whispering Canyon. Other thoughts? Thanks!

Flyinf Fish is two credits, not one. It is a great restaurant, though. You may want to give up a breakfast or lunch in exchange for this. In general, that's what we did in the past on the DxDP -- mostly two meals a day, with a deluxe for dinner, and either TS lunch and use snack credits for muffins as breakfast, OR big buffet breakfast and snacks for lunch.

As for sticking with one credit, you already have a visit to the Poly planned, but Kona Cafe may be my favorite 1 credit right now (although we stopped getting the plan and it's definitely worth out of pocket as well).

PS -- I see you have Wolfgang Puck Cafe on your list. The almost crusted chicken is insane. This might sound funny, but the restaurant is better than it looks. When you first walk in, it's very packed and something about it seems a little off. But the food was right on.

Great choices with Sanaa and Ohana
How about
Kona
Boma (it is plenty different from Sanaa)

Oh, you're right. That's ok, we'll still keep Flying Fish on the list. We do have a few spare credits that we were going to leave open for a few CS fill-ins here and there.
That's great to know about Wolfgang Puck Cafe! We actually have that ADR the night before our dining plan starts, so that's not taking up a credit. We will have 5 nights on DxDP.

To give a better idea, here are all our ADRs so far:

Day 1: Arrive/DTD
Wolfgang Puck Cafe -Dinner (OOP)

Day 2: AK
Tusker House - Breakfast
Lunch-open
Sanaa - Dinner

Day 3: DHS
Kona Cafe - Breakfast
Mama Melrose - Lunch (Fantasmic)
50's Prime Time - (late) Dinner

Day 4: Universal
Riverside Mill - Breakfast
Dinner - ?

Day 5: Epcot
'Ohana - Breakfast
Le Cellier - Lunch
Dinner - open

Day 6: MK
Crystal Palace - Breakfast
CRT - Lunch
'Ohana - (late) Dinner

Day 7: Depart
1900 Park Fare - Breakfast

We're open to canceling Crystal Palace and/or 1900 PF if we need to and just use snack credits instead. But, if all works as planned, we should be good for one TS on our Univeral day? For the "open" meals, we might use snack credits also.

If you are DTD-we LOVE Raglan Road. It is Irish Pub type environment with music and dancers if you are there after 8 I believe..could be 7. I can't remember. But it is the one place we have eaten all all 4 trips and never had a bad meal...Service can be slower and a bit hard to hear when the music is playing. But-overall it's a good place to eat.

My votes are Boma or Cape May Cafe. Both have great choices for adults AND kids. (since you already have my 1st choice...'Ohana!).
