DH and I are driving down for a quick weekend trip to avoid the snow heading my way. We will be in Epcot. I'm not as familiar with Epcot as I am with the other parks. I need a sit down dinner option that isn't too expensive. Any suggestions?

Biergarten Restaurant in Worlds Showcase (Germany) is a really good buffet with entertainment at the same time.......

The Land (seasons) is a counter service with lots of options .

I hate snow .....we are Mainers waiting for spring (and Disney)

Have a good time

The least expensive sit down dinner is probably Rose and Crown. Most other places in Epcot seem to range from $23-30 for entrees.

If it were me, I'd walk over to Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club...inexpensive burger joint. Love their onion rings and milkshakes!

The World Showcase is packed with low to mid price range dining options. There's at least one in every pavilion, and many of them are sit-down options. I know it's not much help in narrowing down your choices, but I recommend that you just walk around the lagoon and pick the spot that looks or smells the best when the time comes. It will give you a bit more freedom to do things at your own pace, and since you're only there for a weekend, that's probably a good thing.

If you're like me and need to plan things to keep from drooling and walking in circles, then I'd recommend trying to get in at Le Cellier. It's mid-ranged as far as prices go, maybe even on the high end of the middle spectrum, but the food is excellent. It's also tough to get reservations there, so the sooner you call the better.

thanks for the quick replies. I have definitely considered leaving the park for dinner. We have seen the fireworks show enough times to not need to see it again on this trip as we are not taking children. :cool1: It has been so long since we have been to Disney without kids I don't know how to plan. This is the first trip in 9 years where we aren't planning a character dining.

Oh, well, if leaving the park is an option, then walking over to one of the EPCOT area resorts is probably the way to go. I guess I'd recommend the Big River Grille at Boardwalk for a nicely priced sit-down dinner, then. They brew their own beers and they have a decent menu. If it's a nice day, you can even sit outside on the boardwalk.

Tutto Italia! They have the best lasagne! Otherwise, Chefs de France is a close second.

Teppan Edo is a great choice. It is a must for us, one of the best meals in Disney!

Either Biergarten or Eat my way Around the World sharing either a meal or snack from several CS locations. My 2 favs are fish & chips from Yorkshire Fish Shop and Shwarma platter from Tangier Cafe in Morocco! Oh and the Udon bowl at Yakitori House in Japan. And of course the bakery in France!

I like San Angels Inn in the Mexico pavillion. If not there, then I would walk around the World Showcase and get drinks also with something to eat as you walk from one end to the other. If you don't want that Beaches and Cream over at the Boardwalk is always good.
