Need a comfortable affordable flip flop for summer

I have some flip flops from LLBean. They are comfortable, but I got calluses on the bottom of my feet, right at the pressure point of my foot, from wearing them!

Do all flip flops cause this, or are there some that do not?

have you tried the flip flops from JCrew ? I think I've got about 15 pairs ( I add a pair or two each year). they are truly the most comfortable flip flops ever. This year I might try the Crocs Crocband Flip. I asked about them in another thread and they got really positive reviews. ( can't go wrong if it's Crocs!)
But the JCrew flip flops have never given me trouble at all and I've worn them for years. (and worn them to Disney twice and didn't have any issues) Plus you can get them in a ton of really nice colors and patterns....they'll go with everything .

I love Nike Celsos. They come in a variety of colors, are lightweight and very comfy.

best ones ever! Although I did love my Crocs Athens- but they discontinued them!

A vote for Crocs Capris. They have good heel cushioning. I can no longer wear regular flip flops but I never have a problem with the Crocs kind (with the molded foot-bed). A plus is that the Capris have a suede or cloth strap so they don't have a very Croc-ish plastic-ey look.

(- I loved Athens too! Capri seems to be the closest - the one piece ABF look too flimsy)

I LOVE sanuk flip flops- they are so squishy and comfy!!!! I found them at Macy's but I have also seen them at dillards they are located near the Reef flip flops and run about $30

I don't like to wear any of the foam type flips as they irritate my feet. It's almost like they suck the moisture out of them. I have some Speedo ones that kind of are okay, but they're still not great.

I do like Crocs though. I just bought a pair last night.....Florence.

Im a flip flop girl !! I wear them everyday even to work (I just try to keep my feet under my desk) I own dozens of different flip flops of all kinds. Hands down the Teva Mush flip flops are the best (J Crew is a close second). For some reason the Croc flip flops kill my feet. I guess everyone is different.
