do you have to work a week to qualify for health insurance at WDW? I have a friend who'd like to know.

Full time cast members qualify for health insurance after their 90 days probation. I think the minimum for full time is 30 hours but you have to have full availability. Its up to your scheduling manager if you work 30 or 40 hours, not you.
