So gone are the days when I would get MULTIPLE offers for balance transfers with NO fee. They all seem to have a 3% transaction fee.
I have a 0% that is up on 3/1 and would like to transfer the balance..any ideas of banks that have the above offer? (I have great credit!!). The acct is presently Citibank so that is out as they won't transfer within their cards.

Thanks for any assistance or ideas!!

Discover used to run these promotions a few months back but transfers without fees are getting very scarce...
I have even seen some 3% fees with NO LIMITS

It's hard to find 0% too. I went with Discover and have a rate locked in for 3.9%. Ya I have a credit balance I am paying off, so shoot me.

Bank Of America just sent me a 0% offer for 1 year with 0 transfer fee. I ripped it up because I don't need it, but it is a great offer if you can get your balance paid before the year is up.

Did you try Bank Of America?
The other one that I received this week is Chase/Disney they had the same deal with 0% O Fees for over a year I think it may have been 18 months.

Also, if it's a dental expense, or anything medical related Care Credit has 0% finance charge for 2 years. It's not exactly a transfer balance, but in case you need a procedure done. You get it through the office that services you. I've done two $10,000 medical/dental expenses through them in the past. It's nice to spread out those huge payments and have things done that you may not otherwise have the chunk of money to put down.

Just a few thoughts, Good Luck!

I get tons of them at 0% but never see one with no fee these days. I used to get them all the time. You're right, they've all got that 3% fee now.

Even the ones that offer 3.9 for life{which I think is a better deal}instead of 0% for a short term, all seem to have fees as well.

i was recently looking for this too. yes, i have credit card debt ... it stinks, but i am staying home w/ my kids and itll get paid off.
anyway, i googled looking for one and a lot of the offers that came up charged a fee too.
the citi (or is it chase?) home rebate card comes up as an option w/ no fee. it is the only one. when i go the paperwork it said there was a 3% fee so i called and if you respond to the online offer of no fee, they then honor that...so def. look for it.
we also got a 0% 0 fee offer last week from USAA.
good luck.

I have american express at 4.99% for the life of the loan. If I recall there was no transication fee.

WARNING! BOA is run by idiots!

When I didn't USE my credit card they raised the rate to 22%:rotfl2: No balance on the card. So I called and asked why? They told me "lack of use":rotfl2: This is suppose to make me want to use the card???

Now every time I go in to make a deposit the teller tries to sell me a new card at some low interest rate.... I just point out that I have a card and they have the highest interest rate I have ever had so why should I get this new card.... Seems to throw them!

I use a NCL BOA cc for the rewards points. I went into a bank branch to pay off the balance a few days ago and the teller asked me if I was interested in "lowering my rate" since the rate had apparently risen recently. They are probably trained to sell product.

I told her that I couldn't care less what the interest rate was since I pay off the balance every month and never carry a balance.

So, they will raise the rate whether you use it or not. :rolleyes1

I know there are alot of people who do not like Capital One but I use my card only for the 0% balance transfers. The only time I'm charged a fee is if they have to send a check. All electronic transfers have been free.

I read your post earlier and paid attention when we got an offer this afternoon. It was from Citi and it said NO ANNUAL FEE! Nothing about the rate or terms. :confused3 I flipped it over and the APR was almost 20%! :scared1:

Finally, I realized it was addressed to my son who turned 18 11 days ago. :sad2: I took it to his room and we had a discussion though I'm always preaching about credit cards. (Half an hour later he got a call from the Marines, though that has nothing to do with the topic.)

Good luck with your search.

I have a citibank "Drivers Edge" reward card that I have had about a year and used just for the rewards...the best reward deal ended at the 1 year mark so I stopped making purchases on it (I always paid the full balance each month):woohoo: and transferred what was left of our HELOC to it. No fee and 12 mo's no interest...can't wait to be debt FREE!!!

Don't know about fees, but just saw this commercial on tv offering 0% for 12 months :
