Need 59 points

I need 59 points to make a reservation in late October 2004. I'm a DVC member so I'd like to transfer the points to my account if possible. Does anyone know if I can bank these rented points (to make a Sep. 2005 reservation) if the Oct. plans need to be cancelled? My use year is August. Thanks!

It is my understanding that transfered points can be banked.
