June 6-14th

June 6th is dbf bday and after much thought (and all your help) we are going to ESPN club (oop)

June 11th is the anniversary of our first date and we will be going to Citrico's (thanks to you guys again).

Here is my list but we need two more:

Wolfgang Pucks
Le Cellier
Ohana
Coral Reef

Dbf is a meat and potatoes guy but once in a while I can get him to be adventurous. I'm not picky about where (park or resort)

Thanks!

The ones you have planned look yuuummm. :goodvibes

My DH is a major meat and potatoes guy as well, and he is most excited about trying Raglan Road on our next visit. That might be something that could work for you.

OOHH! That's one of my favs (bread and butter pudding!!) Thanks!

We just ate at Tutto Italia and Calf. Grill and both were outstanding.

We really like Coral Reef and the steak there gets high marks (we did not have it).

LeCellier is DIS favorite so I doubt you'd go wrong there either.

The biggest "meat and potatoes" restaurant at WDW seems to be 50s Prime Time in DHS.

Getting him to Citricos is something adventurous for a M&P man, so good job there!

Lol well luckily for me he is a romantic:lovestruc The idea of a nice dinner at the GF and a walk on the beach sealed the deal!! Plus I promised him amazing dessert!!

50's prime time never appealed to me, and I'm not sure he would "get" it...

Le Cellier is suppose to be great and its a steak place so I think he would like that! Wolfgang Pucks is good as well my dbf and I did that in May for lunch and we both really enjoyed it. Coral Reef use to be really nice/romantic but they aren't doing divers or special menus next year so i don't know that it would be worth it to me anymore...but I would also agree with the above poster about trying/repeating Ragland Road!

But I think dbf would get a kick out of the type of restaurant, even without the diver. I remember to food being pretty good!

I was thinking maybe Yachstman Grille?

Either that or convince dbf of deluxe dining?? Lol

Your Dbf is a meat and potatoes guy...so is mine! I know he'll love Le Cellier...another place my Dbf loves is Whispering Canyon Cafe at WL or Trail's End Buffet at Fort Wilderness!

I love Le Cellier and I just know he will!!

Yachtsman and Kona.
I thought about both...I had the most amazing steak at Kona. We are already going to 'Ohana though and I was trying to avoid going back to the Poly again.

we liked The Wave at the Contemporary...great steaks for the meat & potatoes guy (and fab desserts)

We recently had great meals at California Grill and Artist's Point in Wilderness Lodge.

Do you mean Yachtsman Steakhouse? I ate there with DBF last year and it was quite good (we prefer Le Cellier tho! Its our absolute favorite!).. if your on the basic dining plan its two meal credits each tho.. but if you have the credits to spend it is very good and great atmosphere...

we did rose and crown this last trip.. the food is alright.. but the best part by far was that if your seated around the time before illuminations (we told them we wanted to be seated close to illuminations for viewing).. you get priority seating for it!.. we really wanted to get seated outside because we thought otherwise you wouldn't get a good view of illuminations.. but we ended up inside and our waiter told us he would take us out to a special viewing area right before illuminations.. we brought our drinks out 5 minutes before and had an excellent view of illuminations! now its going to be a MUST for us just so we can get that great view of illuminations! amazing and the service was very very good

I don't have two more, but LOVE Jiko. It's a great romantic signature, with amazing food and a romantic atmosphere. The fillet is out of this world, and your boyfriend can always get his mac on the side - it's excellent but doesn't look 'normal' on top of the mac.

The taste of Africa is phenomenal - it's a nice combo of safe, with introducing some new tastes.

I'll vote for Whispering Canyon at WL. It a lot of fun and the food is great.

How about a character meal????? Crystal Palace or Liberty Tree.

San Angel Inn and Boma or perhaps the Whispering Canyon Cafe
