Need 2 day ticket advice.

Purchasing directly from Disney. I'm not aware of a discount ticket website that offers a discount on 1- or 2-day tickets, and most are in fact higher than gate price.

Another question... If I decide to tack on a 3rd dAy how much would I be charged at the gate?

The difference in cost between a 2 day ticket and a 3 day ticket. you can look at the prices on the disney website. You must upgrade before the end of the day on which you use the last day of your ticket.

Adult 2 day ticket: $196.00 + tax
Adult 3 day ticket: $275.00 + tax

You'll pay the difference between the 2 tickets and as Aleisia said, it must be done any time before the end of the day when you use the 2nd day of your original ticket.
