Just need one night hotel at nice clean hotel near Orlando airprot. we have an early flight out and thought it made sense to sleep there and avoid rush hour on a monday morning..any ideas? thanks!!

I have stayed at the Marriott Courtyard by the airport which was nice and has a shuttle. I have also stayed at the Hyatt inside the Orlando airport which couldn't be beat for convenience and quality. The staff at the Hyatt were great to deal with, the room which I got a free upgrade to was an executive king room and it was sweet! I can't recommend the Hyatt enough and I plan on staying there again this May for one night due to a real late evening flight. You get off the plane and within minutes you're there checking in. That way the next morning I can start my Disney vacation without being exhausted from a early AM flight.

If there is a Sheraton I would def stay there. I have stayed at three Sheraton's at diff airports and they were classy.

We also did the Marriott by the airport. The shuttle ran perfectly. We pricelined and got it for $60 a night. Stayed there the night of our arrival in Orlando and again the last night before the morning flight out. Nice pool, iffy on-site restaurants. There is a Starbucks though.

We used priceline and got the Wingate by the airport- a really nice hotel and great breakfast! I think we ended up getting it for the $60 range.

Is it hard to find any of the hotels in the dark? Our flight doens't arrive til almost 8:00 and we'd like to stay our 1st night near the airport instead of driving to the pool home we're renting on the following night.

DH and I are both directionally challenged and it was very easy to find the Marriott when we stayed there. It is only about 5 minutes from the airport and is part of a whole complex that includes an Amerisuites Northeast. We stayed at the Amerisuites back in 2005 before a cruise and it was very nice and had a free breakfast. The address for the Amerisuites Northeast (there is also a Amerisuites Northwest) is 7500 Augusta National Drive, which is in the same complex as the Fairfield and the Hilton Garden Inn.

Here is a link that has the MCO airport hotels and their distance from the airport

I did print directions from the hotel website to make it easier to find. I think it took more time to find the entrance to the Hyatt that is right inside the airport :rotfl2:
