I need your opinion on 1 more dinner for Magic Kingdom. Which would be the best with an 8yr old girl and 9 boy?:confused3

I have O'hana's
Coral Reef
Cape May character breakfast-did Chef Mickey last time
Sci-Fi
Hollywood and Vine

My thought was to do MK for 2 days (of our 8 day trip )and a table service in MK or the surrounding resorts. Did Whispering Canyon last time...just Ok per husband. He really like Concourse Steakhouse....now closed.:sad1: Thanks:

We love Crystal Palace for breakfast with Pooh and friends (and if you can get an 8:05 adr, you can have Main Street almost to yourself and get great pictures of the castle); we also really like The Plaza Restaurant. It is a little different than all the "big" meals we eat at places like LeCellier, Coral Reef, etc. It is sandwiches and salads--burgers, grilled chicken, reubens, etc.; portions are huge...comes with fries or German Potato salad, great shakes and super sundaes. We are trying Boma's for the first time this year and it has been getting really good reviews.

I'd probably do either Crystal Palace or hop the monorail to the GF and go to 1900 Park Fare.

I also love Crystal Palace, if they don't mind the Pooh Bear characters.
Grand Floridian Cafe has good food if you don't want a character meal. That or 1900 Park Fare would let you see the GF. I always love seeing the deluxe resorts.

LTT with Minnie, Goofy etc wonderful meal or Crystal Palace.

Or Epcot Garden Grill, we relly enjoyed this meal as well:goodvibes

Crystal Palace dinner buffet is really good. I always like to do buffets with my kids so they are not tied to the yucky kids' menus!

My kids loved Liberty Tree Tavern during our last trip. And honestly it was nice to have the food served family style instead of getting up and down with our kids hoping to not miss a character's visit! Chef Mickey's was great too but I say LTT.

Have a great trip!

If you are not on the dining plan, I'd go to the Plaza. It seems like a waste, though if you are using a TS credit on sandwiches. If you don't mind leaving the park for a couple of hours, I'd go to one of the monorail resorts instead of one of the MK TS places. Maybe try The Wave in the CR.

Did I miss a resturant? The Wave? Contemporary Resort? Is this what is replacing Concourse Steakhouse? I am with you...I don't want to waste TS for sandwiches.

Yes, it's the new TS in the Contemporary that is taking the place of the Concourse Steakhouse, although it's in a different location in the resort. It seems like it will have an interesting menu. We're kicking around trying it on our last night in August before Wishes. Right now we've got an ADR at Tony's at 5:05. We'd like to try The Wave, but they don't start serving until 5:30, and we're not sure we want to give up that much park time in the afternoon on our last night. We've gone back and forth several times, but have stuck with Tony's thus far. We'll see...

If you want to stay in MK, we like Liberty Tree Tavern. If you want something close, then Whispering Canyon in WL is a lot of fun! ;) If you want a little quiter dinner, then Trail End at FW is excellent! You can walk around and see the animals on the farm, too.

I really like the menu at Crystal Palace and would suggest that for a family dinner. I chose a lunch ADR as it suits our schedule better.

The Plaza would be another choice, but it will be a lighter meal as mentioned above.

Tony's seems to get mixed reviews, some really dislike it others like it, though I think lunch gets more praise than dinner.

If you are willing to leave the park take a boat over to the Grand Floridian. The GF Cafe will offer a quieter oasis from the park with good food choices. 1900 Park Fare will continue the character theme with a buffet featuring Cindy and her step family.
