NEC Arena Question

My eldest DD is going to see McFly tonight at the NEC Arena in Birmingham with her friend. Her friend's dad is taking them and I'm bringing them back.

My question is - where is the best place to get them to wait for us to pick them up?
I don't really want to park and have to pay the NEC parking fees (£££!)
