My dd has asthma and I have a bigger nebulizer that she uses now. We lugged it last year but it took up a lot of space in our carry-ons. Do you know of any travel size nebulizers that would be good to carry along with us? I was going to call her ped but I knew I could get some first hand experiences here!

i got one from my asthma specialist, i think it is for children not sure but it is very compact the carry on bag is smaller then those over the soulder coolers, i will look up the name of it and pm you with it

We have a little battery operated handheld nebulizer, that we bought back in 1999. It came in a small little zippered pouch. It's very convenient. I think it cost us around $200, but has been well worth it. It's been great. We keep it with us in our hurricane kit, and take it along on trips.

I take treatments every three hours and had that problem our last trip (to DL). We bought an Aeroneb Go for between $200-$300. It is completely silent and nebs a treatment in about 7 minutes. It can also neb Pulmicort. It comes with a 5x7 zippered pouch. It's battery-powered. Anytime I leave the house I end up needing a treatment so its been great!

Thanks so much!! I'll have to check them out and see what model will work best for DD! Thanks again!

We just got a new nebulizer - I have 3 kids that have asthma. My old one was from when my dd 11 was 2 weeks old. But the new one which is a portable one that I specifically requested because we travel and my kids play baseball is tiny It is a Pari Trek - has a rechargeable battery or an adapter or a car adapter. It weighs less than my purse and comes in its own black pouch that can be worn on a belt. I should have gotten a new one years ago. I'm very excited about it as you can see. :woohoo:
