Neat ideas for giving cash as a gift

A few years ago I found some neat ways to give cash as gifts. Last time I gave my nephew cash, I opened a box of tissue from the bottom and placed the bills within the tissue. He had to open the box and pull out all the tissue with the money coming out randomly as he pulled the tissue.

Anyone have any other ideas. While I do want to give this person cash, I don't want to just hand a card with the money inside. (The receipient is an 18 year old male.)

My MIL does a $ tree every year for her boys. She attaches the $ to a small rosemary plant. You can use the $ and the rosemary if you like.

I gave my niece a brick wrapped in money. It was fun watching her try to guess what it could possibly be because it was so heavy.

Origami made from money?

One year we gave a stack of ones with 2 $50's on both sides (it was supposed to look like a stack of $50's). I think we used tape or something.

We've also done a box with a rock so it felt really heavy.

My uncle used to always fold cash so it looked like a ring. I know there are instructions on line on how to fold them, because I did some a couple years ago

I never wanted to spend the money. I still have a few of the "cash rings" he folded.

When I was really little they were a $1 bill, with the denomination increasing with age. He also could fold a dime into the front so it looked like a stone.

Usually he would wrap it in a jewelry box. One year he game me a fishing pole and the cash ring was tied on like bait.

As a teenager my Grandma used to open packages of socks and underwear and tuck cash inside. At first you thought, bah! socks; then you were like sweet cash.
