My DS will be nearly 3 on our trip. Anyone have a good or bad experience with a child that age there? He seems like a typical child...no big issues. We have seen the show but never with kids. We'll also have a 5 year old. I don't want it to be a waste:) Thanks!

He will LOVE it!! :goodvibes

My DS#1 has seen it twice. Once at 2 and this past Nov at 4. My DS#2 was 21 months old this Nov when he saw it for the first time.

The both enjoyed it, the older one much more. He got a lot of the jokes. :)

I think you'll sons will be fun. It's a really fun show and the food is surprisingly good.

My ds was a few weeks shy of 3 on our trip last summer and we did Hoop. He loved it. He especially liked the end when they give everyone washboards and such to play along. I think both of your children will enjoy it, although most of the jokes will go right over their heads. But it's a fun party and I personally love the food.

We went in January with my one year old and 2 1/2 year old. Both of them LOVED it as far as I could tell. They really enjoyed all the entertainment and the food. It was the only place we went besides the Biergarten they really seemed to like! I think you will have a great time! :thumbsup2

Great...thanks for the advice! We are doing this or the Spirit of Aloha show...I'd rather do this though!

The first time our sons saw it, they were just past their 3rd and 1st birthdays. Our younger son enjoyed the music and commotion. Our then 3 yo loved everything about it. He roared at the jokes so much so that a couple of ladies at the table in front of us took a picture of him. They were surprised such a little one got the jokes. So were we!

I bet your son will love it!

We just went with our DD, who just turned three. She loved it, as did we too! Highly recommended.

Glad to see such positive responses for HDDR with toddlers. We've been there before, but our planning to take our 3 yr old for the 1st time this year - we think he'll love it too!

Our kids were EXACTLY the same ages, my DD was a few days shy of 3 and DS was 5, when we first went to HDDR. They loved it.:lovestruc They were belly laughing:rotfl2: and dancing in the aisles at the end of the show. This is a must do for us every trip.:thumbsup2 It's also my DH's favorite meal at WDW. He loves the comfort food and pitchers of beer and sangria!:drinking1

HDDR is great. Just got back and our DDs are the same age and loved it.
