Nearest resort to OKW

Just wondering what the closest or easiest resort to okw. We have friends that plan on going and was wondering what resort to stay at so they can come visit. I saw port orleans and french quarter which is in their price range but does anybody have any other suggestions.

POFQ is close, as is Saratoga Springs Resort. SSR is walkable to OKW, but driving is easier. From POFQ they would have to drive to OKW. If you don't have a car available, then only walking from SSR would be easy. All the other places and you'd either have to take a bus to a park and then to OKW or just use a taxi.

I would suggest POR because they have a very nice pool and other special amenities like the fishing hole. We've pool hopped there after enjoying a wonderful breakfast at Boatwrights!

They could also grab the boat from POFQ to DTD then from there to OKW... Maybe not the fastest (maybe it is too, we've had some very long trip times using the buses to hop around...) but certainly one of the more pleasant transportation choices.

Sometimes there are great deals on studios at OKW through CRO ($149 during value season), you may want to look into that.

I agree with Debbie. Have them get a studio at OKW.
