Nearest Beach by bus from Disneyland?

We were looking to give ourselves a day off from DL and going to the beach. We had thought that Newport Beach was easily do-able by bus, but looking at Google Maps the bus seems to drop you a long way from the beach-has anyone else got any suggestions?

Maybe Huntington Beach? It's pretty much a straight shot down Beach Blvd and it looks like there's a stop right on PCH, but there are a lot of stops in between according to Google Maps. It'd be over 3 hours of travel time round trip. Maybe get an Uber instead?

Yes on Huntington! Straight down Beach Blvd to the pier and shops and sand! My 85 year old mother does this!

A bus is a huge waste of time. I'd Uber to Newport. If you insist on the bus, Huntington is really your only option (but it's not the nicest beach in OC).
