I can see it now. I walk into Southpark Center Mall with a TV set and my VHS camcorder and proceed to setup in the food court.

Do you think that mall security might have a slight problem with that?

Perhaps the videos will have to wait until May.

I think we'll need to wait until John-Con to watch the videos! LOL!

How long do you think it would take to get there from the Pittsburgh area? I would love to come and meet all of you, but we have a Girl Scout cookie booth sale all morning and I don't know if I could make it in time.

Laura, skip the cookies and just join us!!! No clue how long it would take to get there from Pittsburgh, but it takes me about 2 hours to get there from where I live. My guess would be about 2 hours for you as well.

Two hours is a pretty good guess.

I just saw the commercial on local TV for the next winners of the day trip to WDW (that Tuffcookie won last week). I posted that I recognized the name and, believe it or not, I think that I graduated from high school with this week's winner. I have just GOT to win next week.

For some reason, the music from "It's A Small World" keeps running through my head.

Elaine, I would love to skip the cookie sale! Unfortunately, I am the Cookie Mom and had to set up the whole booth sale, so they'd probably kill me if I bailed on them. Maybe if all of you promise to buy all 150 boxes we have to sell, I'll bring the cookies to the meet and we'll call it even!

I can't tell you how many times I bailed out the cookie mom in my DD's troop by purchasing all the leftover GS cookies. I'm already up to 20 boxes so far this year. I think my DW would shoot me if I bought too many more cookies (like 150 more boxes). I'm skating on thin ice at the moment. Perhaps if I win that trip......

I'd say 2-3 hours from where you are. Turnpike to I-71. We'll be there for awhile in the afternoon. What time is the cookie sale finished?

I did a quick search on Mapquest, and it does look to be about 2 hours away. There is a turnpike entrance right in Cranberry, where I live. Can you give me directions from the OH turnpike to the mall? The sale runs until noon, so it would be possible to make it. I'll have to see what else is going on at home before I can decide for sure.

At I-80 Exit 161, turn off onto Ramp (I-71 / US-42)
Merge onto I-71 (South) for 1.3 miles
At I-71 Exit 231B, turn off onto Ramp (OH-82 / Strongsville)
Merge onto SR-82 [Royalton Rd] (West)

The mall will be on the left side of the road.

According to Microsoft Streets & Trips, it's 113.1 miles or 1 hours and 51 minutes from the Cranberry entrance to South Park Center Mall in Strongsville.

I can tell you from a lot of personal experience that mapquest is usually off on how long it takes to get somewhere. They told me it would take almost 7 hours to get to the north end of Chicago from my house... it takes about 5. So it might take you a little less time than that.

Sorry you won't be able to make it Steve. I was looking forward to meeting you.

Actually, I've done that drive from that exit of the turnpike (it's literally an exit from my house) to Pittsburgh and that estimate is pretty close. It'll most likely be (weather permitting) a little less than 2 hours from Cranberry to Strongsville.

Bumping up again!

Please put me down as a "maybe" for Saturday. It all depends on how much work we need to get done on our addition over the weekend. We have some painting and staining to get done, and I'm not sure how thrilled DH will be if I am gone a huge portion of the day on Saturday, since I will also be gone a lot on Sunday. Bummer. Maybe I'll just tell him I'm going to get the kids out of his hair on Saturday. He doesn't need to know I'm crossing the border, does he?

Pembo, I'll save a box of Thin Mints for you if I come! Tagalongs are my favorite. Sad to say, I ate a whole box today by myself.
