We were originally booked on the June 17th cruise but had to change it due to DH's work schedule.

It will be me, DH, DD (7), and DS (5).

We are very excited to be sailing out of NYC. We. Obed up from FL 6 months ago and are not used to having to fly to cruise. It was really hard to not lack whatever we wanted for our cruise last week.

Then there is the $95 fee, will see how the numbers work out.

Just checked DVC site, No Concierge Collection listed for 2012.

I would also love some ideas for hotels in NYC. Have no idea where to stay?

A quick search show a HI a few blocks away, I will also look at a place near LGA , which just guessing will be significantly cheaper than a manhattan location. Should that be the case , then will arrange a Super Shuttle ride to teh port the next morn.

Newark may win, hotel is $150 cheaper and Super shuttle for two to the port is $33, airfare is a +or - $10 to the various New York area airports. Need to wait about a month to book the room and flight.

In checking things it looks like Newark might be less expensive to overnight and get a shuttle to the port. will be able to book flights here in a few weeks.
