One of my med school classmates who lives in Portsmouth, NH sent this link to our entire class about an adorable little girl with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. They are not seeking donations for this family per se rather they are seeking people to be tested for bone marrow compatability. If people donate anything, the checks actually go to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Even if you don't live close to where these particular drives are going to be, please still consider being tested. It could save the life of someone anywhere in the country because the results go into the National Registry.
