NCL Star, AF mini suite, Kids clubs questions

Please don't flame me as I would really rather do the DCL cruise out here in Ca but am having a hard time justifying the cost. If my wife could have gotten off work, we would actually be sailing on the repo cruise (excellent prices). My wife and I have booked a mini-suite on the NCL Star (Jul 10 05 Alaska cruise for my 50th bday) and were wondering if any one here has had any experience with this Ship, this particular cabin, and also their kids clubs (especially how they compare to the Oceaneers club).
