NCIS - Abby fans

DD13 is already planning a halloween costume. Her middle school does spirt week the the week that halloween falls on, that ends with a costume dance party Friday night.

She wants to dress up as Abby. We are trying to figure out what all she needs.


Lab coat - ck goodwill
chunky shoes - she has a pair
a black or plaid mini skirt - ck goodwill/platos closet
a slogan t-shirt - she has several she was thinking either her red one that says My boyfriend is a vampire or her black one that says Then Buffy staked Edward. The End.
Funky knee-hi socks - she has some put if we need to get another pair we would. She loves these types of socks.
Her hair is long enough to put into two braids.

I will have to either find a spider web temp tatoo or free hand on onto her neck. The right side if I am looking at her. I also know she has a circle smilie face on one of her fingers, but I can't remeber which one it is. We saw it on an episode this year(think it was the one she guest starred on NCIS: LA).
Need at least on leather metal studded braclet.
Need to make her a Calf-Pow Cup.

What are we missing or another other Abby suggestions. These kids put a lot of thought into what they wear.

I guess it goes without saying -- eyeliner, red lipstick, pale makeup. And an NCIS badge for the lapcoat.

DD has one, but not nearly as big and it doesn't make any sounds.

That is going to be such an awesome costume. I think I would go the Boyfriend is a vampire t-shirt, sound like Abby all the way. She has that farting stuffed animal, love that if you could find one.

DD loves this store. That is actually where her Then Buffy staked Edward. The End t-shirt came from.

I figured we would be getting her braclet from there, unless goodwill would happen to have some a lot cheaper.

She did see a black mini skirt there, but it would be WAY to short for her to wear to school, even with tights on or a pair of her cheer drawers.

The black eyeliner she has is from there, too. I am hoping they or Torrid (sister store) will have the spider web temp tatoo. I really don't want to draw that free hand.


DD would love me to do the Angel/Devil stick figures Abby has on her shoulders, but they would be covered up by whatever top she wears. I did tell her, that if one of her friends has a costume party at their house, I would do it then for her and we would find her a different top to wear.

Believe so. Doesn't she also have black hair? And of course bangs.

Also---she is crazy interested in all the science stuff....so anything lab-like that Abby might be working on. And if she wants to get crazy into character, Abby talks very detailed and very fast and her blue eyes speaks volumes without her saying an actual word.

I love Abby. What an awesome costume idea.

If you have a Party City, you might check there for temp tattoos, I got some for DH there when we went to MNSSHP.

She talks with her hands....A LOT!! DD can't talk without her hands moving around to get her point across. She'll be telling us something that has really nothing to do with what we asked her about, then she wave her hands and say anyways and get back onto the subject we were talking about. She's got the way Abby saysGibbs and McGee down pat. And that squinty mouth/eye look that she gets, she does that one all the time.
