NC dismeet in Cary - aug 4?

So ther seem to be quite a few disers in the Raleigh/Cary NC area and several of us have started talking about a meet on august 4th. Koka Booth amphitheater (outdoors) is showing Up on aug 4, gates at 7 movie at dusk.

Thought it would post it in here too so we can figure it all out. I don't thing we have time to get as fancy as some of the other meets, but since the movie is only $3 or $5 if we book a reserved area, we should be able to collect donations on top of the entry charge.

Anyone interested?

I've been watching the posts from nc for several weeks now. I would love to meet up but I too will be out of town. Maybe next time. As an aside, a fun meeting place would be the raleigh road drive in in henderson. First run movies, classic cars and relatively cheap. When compared with WDW and movie theater prices its almost free. They have family packages that for $60: family of six with meals popcorn and candy treat.

What a great idea! We are in Holly Springs. Another DIS'er directed me to this thread. We are at the beach that week but interested in any other planned meet-ups in Cary

Did you see they are having a sing-a-long to Sound of Music at Koka? It's pricey at $15 per adult but sounds like fun!
