Hi all was meant to be going with my sister and her family in Oct but not now  but i am now going Feb 09:cheer2: as my cousin wants to come with us, it will be her first time with DS 6 we can not wait to introduce them to the magic of disney:cheer2: :cheer2: but i have changed my mind on where to stay was staying at the SL but after going there in Dec i have been put off (bad experiance):sad1: so now lolking at either NPB or HNY Please Please help me decide give me the pro's and con's and pics if any body has them so i can show my cousin, looking at this years prices there is only about £50ish difference so not bothered about that.
Also how much is it to change a booking i have 2 rooms as my sister and her lot were on the original booking would i be charge per booking, per room or per person?? i was hoping to just change the booking to feb when the prices come out, not sure if it would be cheaper to just cancell and re-book??
thanks all:thumbsup2

As much as I love the Newport Bay Club - for an extra £50 I'd go for the HNY, shorter walk from the parks, important after a long tiring day or the cooked breakfast option either of these would be enough to swing it for me for 50 quid. :)

Have to add though that the above is purely from a value for money point of view, aesthetically the NPB is beautiful both inside and out, whereas I think the HNY is plain ugly, mind you I also think the same about the SL - but that's just my opinion.

Can't help with the booking change - sorry, hope you can get it sorted at minimal cost though.

Not sure if they do breakfast slots at the npb, but after a recent stay at hny for the 1st time (stayed at sl last yr), one of the best things was to be able to go in for magic hrs in the morning, and then go back to the hotel which is only a 5 min walk, and dig into a hot breakfast!!They serve until 11am, and after a couple of cold hrs of emh, a plate of bacon, scrambled eggs and a coffee in the manhatten restaurant was a big high to our trip!!! Also saved on lunch!:thumbsup2

Although happy with the SL at the time, in our opinion, we felt that there was a big difference between the Sl and service and atmosphere at the hny (but that may have been to do with the view of the dlh and castle from our standard room window):rotfl: !!!

I'm sorry I don't know about changing the booking but I too would choose HNY over NPB, no question.

i agree i would choose hny over npb. if nobody here can help you could look at the terms and conditons to see how much you would lose if you cancel and then rebook. i dont think i read anything about changing your booking though

thanks all will call them tomorrow i think, i will update so incase anybody else has to change so you will know:wave2:

Sorry if I am being daft - you mention Feb 09, but then say you may wait until the prices come out - do you mean Feb next year?

There are lots of special offers around at the moment that are making HNY look very cheap. Sequoia Lodge has run out of 20% off rooms, for example, but HNY still has them. Usually you will find that HNY is a couple of hundred pound more expensive over a few nights stay. Just something to bear in mind if it is next year you want to go. Same offers may not be on.
