Hey Guys !
I just wanted to start a separate thread for people who can talk about the specifics of what they love about the overlay instead of voicing opinions about liking/disliking the overlay in general.
My fiancee bought me the Collector's Edition of NBC and I watched most of the special features (including all of the NBC Overlay Extras). This past January was the VERY FIRST time I had seen it. Being a BIG Tim Burton fan, I was in awe. My heart skipped a beat and I thought I could OD in happiness
What I found quite amazing was that the gingerbread house on the dining table in the ballroom is REAL. The pastry chefs at DLR work with designers and come up with an amazing gingerbread house that is reminiscent of a specific aspect of the movie.
Also, when they were first getting everything ready, they had called up a local company that specializes in wrapping paper to come up with the wrapping for all the presents in the attic. Being a graphic designer, I completely appreciated the paper. I am a little bit obsessed with stationary and it was so cool to pay attention for the detail on the packages. At first they look like these bright and colorful presents, but if you take a close look there are eery spiders and spiky vines intertwined.
I am just TOOO stoked about going to DLR in two weeks for MTOTP
I looove Halloween
