This was just posted on a couple of other sites. Has anyone heard anything about this?? Any communication from Disney?

Yeah.. I WISH that this was a Rumor...but it's not. There goes my Tower stay. I get 4 days/ year to tend to myself. Honest...just four days/ year. I moved the trip from an original May date....now...basketball will displace me. I'm one to make the best of any situation, but this is disappointing right now. Taking a moment to be sad :sad1: and then, I'll find a bright spot. :sunny:

Wonder what or where they will offer us?
Probably the now empty BCV because everyone is dumping their DVC there because of no feature pool .

I've stayed there. It's nice. The location is great. Like I said...there's a bright spot to everything.

I'm sure Disney has been waiting to give us information on our upcoming vacation because of this . It's all about the money. Needless to say, my August Grand Floridian resort stay looks like it's not going to happen. Very disappointing.

So far most GDT moves I’ve seen on here have been to Riviera. Fingers crossed! Not a beach club fan.

We got offered the Riviera, 1 br Villa for a YC CL stay. No refund for the CL portion of our stay. Cost wise, it was a downgrade and we only got the 1 br to allow them to not refund us much, about $120. I suspect without CL, they would’ve offered a studio. We turned it down.

Have you stayed at Riviera? Is it comparable to Yacht? We book yacht for the no carpet , newly refurbished rooms and walking ability to two parks. Curious of your opinion

I have not, but did do a DVC tour. It is very nice, it was actually the resort we chose for our cancelled trips. And it’s very new. I would not be happy at all with the studio because of the beds, but otherwise I consider it comparable to the YC, with the pool being far superior at the YC.

Transportation is a pain though if they don’t use the gondolas- if they do it would be great for access to Epcot and HS. We just don’t know yet.

My problem with the move was they would not refund the CL portion of our stay. The YC was more expensive at CL. It was easy for me to compare because I had it booked earlier. I had an AP discount though, so they compared rack rates at the Riviera to my YC AP rate and decided it was an upgrade.

So sorry they did that. I am so disappointed and angry at how the lack of communication, lack of continuity of offers and now this NBA deal spreading over three deluxe resorts.
We booked two queen beds , that’s one of our issues. A pullout will not work. Transportation is huge and a feature pool is a must. Thanks for your input.

The pull down Murphy bed in the studio has the same mattress as the queen bed, I have not stayed yet...but others Reported that it is really two beds!

RIV does not have a pull out.
