NBA at Walt Disney World

Rajon Rondo just tweeted his feelings on the GDT room he’s been assigned. Called it a Motel 6 and included a middle finger emoji. Well, there are tons of us out there that would love to be staying in that “Motel 6” right now

Typical UK mentality 🙄 I would love to spend a Disney day with the Lopez brothers!! 😍

Never thought I'd have reason to be grateful to an NBA player for anything personal, but I will love forever any man who gets WDW to FINALLY put sufficient resources into the internet traffic situation.

WiFi on-property is badly substandard; Disney needs to call UCF to consult on installing what they really need. (Major universities know from serious bandwidth management, and have developed really good strategies for keeping wifi from getting overwhelmed. And yes, actual wired connections for certain applications are necessary for optimal network performance.)

I had a great experience with the CSR WiFi on my last stay, which makes sense as it’s the primary convention host resort. Have not had the same experience at all Deluxes... my work VPN was blocked at Saratoga  I agree it would be nice if Disney had kept the wired connections as well.

Yikes - all the junk food they gave them! I cannot imagine elite athletes sitting in their hotel rooms for 48 hours eating Skittles and Doritos!

A large portion of young NBA players eats like this pretty regularly. You'll frequently hear about guys in their 7th or 8th year in the league completely changing their diets and saying things like "I can't believe I ate all that junk when I was younger." Dwight Howard used to eat 24 candy bars a day (and even then was still one of the most chiseled players in the league).

Maybe they gave them an assortment so they could choose their favorite snacks.
