I see that the Navigator Newspaper tells you what is happening for the next day. Will it tell you the choices for the week? For instance, if we forego the Appetizer cooking class on Sunday, will it be offered again another day? Do you make reservations for those activities, tours of ship, etc?

Most of the Entertaining, Tours, etc, are only offered the 1 time. If you miss that one, that's it. When I was on the March 8th, I went to some, missed others, not a problem. No reservations were needed, you just showed up where it told you to. Studio Sea for most of Art of entertaining.

You don't need reservations for most of the activities, but you will need them for the galley tour if it is offered. They don't usually repeat the activities, but they have some similar things (for example, cooking appetizers one day and desserts the next or a theater tour one day and a chat with the actors on another).

We will definitely want the galley tour as my hubby is the chef at home. He hopes to get some new recipe ideas. I was just thinking today how the galley has to have ALL the week's supplies ready. Where do you go to reserve this?

Last time we did the 7-day, they didn't have it...I'm guessing because of Norwalk. But if they have started doing it again, there will be a day, time, and location listed in the Navigator where you can go for the tickets. They will be free and will be handed out at that location on a first come, first served basis for various times. The galley is fascinating...totally set up for efficiency and maximization of space.

We did this 2 yrs. ago and really enjoyed it. The only thing we couldn't understand was that approx. 2-3 hrs. before dinner there was nothing being prepared, cooked, and noone in the kitchen. How do they do their MAGIC? When, and it's very seldom I cook a big meal, it seems that I am in the kitchen forever, and make such a mess.

that's why I don't cook much.
