When using the app on the ship to message my wife, do we need to be logged in to different Disney accounts or can we be logged in to the same Disney account on our two phones?

The Navigator app does not require a Disney account when used on the ship. Once you are in the boarding area, each passenger should be able to log into the app using their cabin number, name and birthdate. (Children under a certain age may need a parent’s authorization.)

I can't answer your exact question, but neither my husband nor my daughter have Disney accounts. They both connect to the ship WiFi, open the Navigator app, and log in with their name and stateroom number.

You just both need to have the Disney app on your phone.

I don’t have an account husband did it all . I put the app on at home and could see the count down. Connect to the ship wifi the day you get there at the terminal.

You will than go to chat in the app and add your wife like a friend…lol If you both have an apple phone you can iMessage (text but no pictures)instead.
