Navigator app 'not compatible' with my Android device

I've tried to download the Navigator app, but it says it's not compatible with my HTC Android device and won't even let me download it. Has anybody else had this problem? What did you do to fix it? Thanks!

I had an old Samsung Stratosphere that wouldn't support the DCL Navigator. I now have a Samsung Galaxy 4 and it works fine. It is probably an older version of Android you are using that is not compatible.

How old is your device and which version is your OS? I've had no problem with the Navigator app running on my HTC DNA (currently running Android 4.4.2) and on my Nexus 7 tablet (Android 4.4.4). You may need a software update. Which HTC device do you have? If it's more than a couple of years old, there may be other incompatibility issues.

That sounds like it's probably my problem. My device (Incredible 2) is exactly 2 years old and is running Android 2.3.4. I checked for updates, but there aren't any available to me. Guess it's a paper navigator for me (since I don't necessarily want to carry my tablet around).

Just a suggestion--check with your provider and see if there are updates that have not been pushed to your phone. I had the same issue and once my provider update my phone--all was good!!

Thanks for the advice. Didn't take too much looking to figure out they never released Ice Cream Sandwich for my phone. I've found out the park app doesn't work either. I guess I need a new phone
