Navi at rope drop

There are lots of posts on FOP rope drop strategies, but what about Navi? If it is a 9am opening time, do we need to be at the park earlier than say 8:15 (assuming they start letting people in around 8:30)?

You don’t mention a date but 8:15 for 9:00 opening headed to Na’vi is plenty early. Have fun!

Hi- we rope dropped Navi & had no problem walking on. We arrived about 20 mins before opening & everyone else was going to FOP.

Lots of posts about Navi at rope drop as well. First week of Feb it’ll be basically 5-10 minutes top if you’re there at rope drop. I’d still get there a little early since they let you in early but if you’re at Navi at 9 you can probably do it twice in first 30
minutes.

You can arrive later but you might wait a few minutes longer. I would probably aim for 8:15-8:30 at the gate. You’ll be in a better position for short waits elsewhere after Na’vi.

If we want to be there around 8:15-8:30, when should we be aiming to leave Pop Century on the bus? How long does it take to normally get there (without any hiccups)?

Your wait once you get to Na’vi will be fine, but you still have to deal with the mass of humanity going to FOP until their line separates from the rope drop crowd. It wasn’t fun - we knew they were all going to FOP but there was no way around them on the Pandora bridge.

I’d be at the bus stop about 7:30a, 7:45a at the latest.
