Nationals Rates go Down!

I've been checking every day for my dates in September. Every day I get the same rates (yesterday's was higher) for a full size $371 (with all the codes taken off).
Today I got $308! The base rate is down from $228 to $152!

I checked my dates for October and the weekly rental is still the same, $228. I guess I'll be waiting a little bit longer to do the happy dance.

Price went up for me! Last week it was $193 (base rate + tax/fees at the DC discount) and now it is $223!

What discount code did you use for the better rate? I checked again today (Sat) and it has gone up...

Hoping to meet last Nov rate of $198 for 10 days, full size.

just checked my dates sept 3 -10 base rate is 220.95 up from what i booked it at..

My dates are Sept 14-25. I used the old National Disney Club Code and the coupon from the Disney Club site. You're not going to believe this. After I posted, I went back and tried again because I wasn't sure it took off the old code. When I did, the rates had went up $25! Are they changing minute by minute?

I checked for my next three trips (Aug, Sep, & Oct) and rates were still pretty high using EA. I got a great rate of $140 base week at Dollar using the entertain code.

well as long as you got the good rate westcliff that is the main thing......and yes they sometimes change quickly.....

make sure you have a print out .....what the internet offered you and would also call to make sure they have it in their computer.....if not, you can tell them you would be more than happy to "fax" them a copy of the print out you have...

have done this before when the rates offered and what was in their computer did not match up....

think i did it through the "internet help" line which is an 800 number but i do not have it right off hand now

maybe someone else has it "filed" ( the 800 number )

I aam just starting to plan this October trip. Where do you get the codes. I am a DC member but I just can't seem to get on the site and I give up now. We are fastlane members ,AAA,and EA. Have I not joined any clubs that give discounts for WDW? Please tell me the codes or where to find them so that I can get on with the show. Thanks everyone.

The best car rental discount I've had was using the Disney Club code. Last Nov got a full size for 10 days right at $198. So far this year their rate is $387. OUCH!!

Right now Dollar is at $277 for the same rental, using the "Entertain" code. Still more than I want to pay. Gotta keep checking!!!

the base rate is 14$ higher than the base rate in september.....which is the same as the base rate for a week later august 17 -24 with the same info above comes out to 197 $ final price


it helps when you post to give some indication what you were "looking" at to begin with and what it went "down" to

Sorry if previous post was not clear. My rental for AUG 1 - 11 using EA and DC has dropped from $525 three weeks ago to $323 today. That's down from $401 yesterday. I just keep checking and was hoping it might also help someone else out.
