Prices finally went down with National and I reserved a car. Now, why didn't they ask for a credit card number? Will there be a car there for me and will my price be the same when I get there? Or will they change the price once I get there and then tell me I have to get a higher car because mine are all gone?

Also, does anyone know if I can join EA and just add it to my ressie? I was so excited last night, I just went a head and got my car.

Most rental car companies do not require a CC. They wil charge you when you pick up the car.

No, they cannot change the price. Print out your confirmation and bring it along.

If you join Emerald Club, you'll need to either rebook with it OR try and call National and see if they can add your Emerald Club membership to the reservation. With EC they will have your CC on file but still will not charge it until get your car.
