National Refueling Costs

I was informed by the National guy at the exit that the company now charges $4.55 a gallon to refill the tank if you don't bring it back full. (They were REALLY pushing the refueling option which I think is a ripoff. I don't normally run the car to empty which is what they assume you will do!) Be sure to fill up before you return! I have a feeling that all the airport based car companies have raised thier price to this.

National tried to charge me a refueling fee when I had returned the car with a full tank! It took three phone calls, the reciept from the gas station outside the airport and lots of complaining to get it fixed. I'll use Dollar from now on.

we just got back last week....we used emerald aisle....

we filled up the night before ....when we got to the airport we did not have any problems.....no questions....just printed the receipt and away we went

The terms and conditions allow them to request sight of the receipt to prove that you filled it within 10 miles of the airport. I have only been asked for it once but always have it anyway.

If you are coming on the Beeline from I4 then drop off on the Tradeport exit just before the airport. The 7-11 has non-airport-priced gas. Easy access back onto the beeline - just exit through the entrance you entered by.

Well, I always just cram the tank full of gas at Disney and don't worry about it. (I have never been asked at National in Orlando, but the tank is always still above full when they get the car!)

We were charged $27 something as a refueling charge in July. One phone call had it taken care of when I told them that the whole concept was misrepresented to me at check out, otherwise
I would never have selected that option.

This will be something I'll remember for the next trip for sure!
