National Rates up???

I hadn't made airline ressies for our nov trip, but I had an idea of my travel dates, so I looked at national to see what a rental car for 11/2 - 11/7 (approx times.) would be. I know that the total using the priceless code/ent coup was around $96 with taxes...I couldn't believe it so I reserved it. I'm at work and my paperwork is at home, so I don't have the conf. # to look at it.

I found some flights to book, so I popped out to National and quick did another ressie and this amount was like $200 ...OUCH!

I sure hope I can modify my ressie at home to keep my $96 rate...

Anyone else notice this rate increase?

Checked my Sept. 28-Oct. 4 ressie and it had increased anywhere from $60-over $100 depending on the code I plugged in.

Glad I locked in when I did!!!!

As long as you already locked in at that price you are ok. Within the past 2 days I have switched my ressie 3 times and the price remained the same. However when I switched my sister's ressie it went up 42.00 because of the fact she switched her time from evening til morning therefore it charged her another day. Don't worry you won't lose the official ressie until the end when it asks if you want to keep the modified ressie or keep the old ressie. It will make a side by side comparision. Hope this helps!

Well I lucked out....I moved the 11/2 arrival from 9:00 am to 9:30 pm and the 11/6 return from 1:00 pm to 11/7 7:00 am. I was able to modify and keep my $93.82 rate.....


Cruise is booked, airfare booked, rental car booked....now all I have to do is 2 nights hotel and WAIT!

just noticed this now. i booked 9/23 - 10/1 yesterday for $118 total for 8 days.

went to check today for my sister and it is over $200!

i know it will go down though, it always does.
