National Rates Just Dropped

Earlier today my rate had gone from $170 back to $201 (4/15 - 4/26 for Internediate).

Just checked again and it went back down to $168.
Doesn't hurt to check

Back on 3/28/05 I booked 5 days at National Emerald Aisle starting 9/18 @ 10:30am returning 9/23 @ 7:00am for $93.82, that was a steal But now I'm wanting to change the date to the 17th and the the new price is $186.00 What Gives

You can try to e-mail them and ask them if you can add the extra day without losing your current rate. They did that for me last October.

Call them. I had a great rate for October (10 days) and only today booked my flight. I had to revise my hours somewhat for pickup and dropoff. I modified my original reservation and I still have the great rate of $158.15 (online). Just putting in a new quote for those dates gives me a quote of $373

yes try that.... go into your reservation and click modify. Make your changes, it will show you the difference and you have the option of not going thru with the change. I just modified ours last week. We have a great rate with National for this July but rates are higher now than when I made the ressie. But we changed our plans and instead of picking the car up at noon, we are picking up very early a.m. and instead of dropping off at noon, we are dropping off late in the day. All this equals another day added on. And when I "modified" my ressie, my rate stayed the same. It just went form 8 days to 9 days. The only additional cost was the 9th day but it was at my already reserved rate (per day), NOT the rate being offered currently. I hope it works for you!!

THANK YOU GUYS!!!! I modified my reservation on the internet to pick up 1 day earlier and the rate only increased $2.70 Go figure. Thanks again

Thanks for the heads up. I just check my May 31 - June 7 reservation and rebooked it. My rate is now $100.41 for a full size.

Surprisingly my 10 day minivan rental in June dropped by about $60 (from $380 to $320) this afternoon. Used the Entertainment coupon and Priceless (Continental about the same).
