Weird thing is, I get a better rate with the Emerald Club code than with our AARP discount. With a $35 coupon, we're now only $8 more than Alamo for the entire 8 days, AND only $30 more than the infamous 67 code we had originally!!
Not good here.....$1800 for a 2 week minivan.....
Thanks anyway
Did you try it with the Emerald Club code: 5007125 and then I used an Entertainment coupon for a free day and got 1 week with a minivan on Emerald Reserve for $300.
Hope that might help you!

WOW is right.
Full size car
9/13-20, 8 days(extra day's charge for 5 extra hours)
contract 5007125 with coupon NF1982JDD($30 off week)
Was $260 on Sunday
Now $150!!!
Booked
Thanks for the heads-up.
Now for a question. I joined the EA club and got the free upgrade to executive status, but my reservation states:
Here's what you do to pick up your car:
Counters: Consolidated Alamo/National counters located in terminals A and B on Level One below all airline baggage claim lobbies.
My question is how do I get the emerald aisle service?
Thanks
John
Is this your first time using the Emerald Club? I can't remember as I've had mine for awhile, but I want to say that the first time you use it, the ressie still shows up as "Counter"??? I'd call National and ask.
How'd you manage a free Executive Status?? That rocks!
I tried the codes you (JOHN) used for November 8-15 and the best I can get is 213. I have 173 on Alamo. Anyone have any other suggestions. We are an Emerald Club member but I need to find my number. Where do I get the Emerald club code? Maybe that would work. I do like the idea of walking out to choose a car.
Yes this will be the first time.
I also want my wife an additional driver, can I register her online or do I do that at the counter as well(or do I even have to do anything at all since the additional driver comes free with the Emerald Club). I really want to try the EA and hopefully get something nice.
As far as the free executive status, that came from a post on flyertalk.com a few months back
Thanks,
John
Their customer service agents are usually very happy to help, unlike some of the other companies I've rented from.
Booked over two months ago, cancelled and rebooked last week. Thanks for the heads up.
