National Rates Down!!

Just looked around 2:00pm this afternoon, and my rates went down $45....

No problem, i used the Walmart code (5000304) and the $20 off coupon (ND41). My weekly rate was $140.65 plus taxes, giving me an out the door rate of $186.96. Down from yesterdays rate quote of $235...

Mine's unchanged. I think it depends on how far you are from your pickup date; mine did drop a few weeks ago. My 2 week SUV rental is $60 more with the Wal-Mart code than with the AAA code 6100253. I think for anyone it is good advice to keep checking those reservations, and snap up any lower rates that pop up.

If you can put your rental on American Express, try using 5125601 as the code. I'm getting a much better rate in October than with the Wal-Mart Code.

My Oct 28th rate didn't change. I got a good rate using 5125601 and the $20 ent coupon. 7 day compact $166.95.. with National.

I booked mine a while ago but keep checking everyother day to see if its gone down.

Seems over the weekends the rates are always higher. Wonder if they raise them thinking more people are off booking things during the weekends??

This weekend the midsize I have reserved for 7 days for $160 was $229 with the same discount codes!!! But today it was back down $171.

I checked for September-October and nothing but December went down.

Keep checking - it may go down. That contract ID is only good for up to full size, and we need bigger than that. I think I'll stop checking myself, since I will be picking up my car in 36 hours!

I give up! We leave in three weeks, and the best I've been able to get for our nine-day rental is $242, no matter what codes I use.....

Check Daily!!! I just rechecked and rates are back up another $15. It seems as if they are changing daily

I've been trying to get an intermediate on EA and the cheapest I've been able to find is $183 (with taxes/fees) for 8/12-8/19....

Im on the EA 8/22-8/26 for $183. Its considered a week rental because i need an extra 4 hours
