National Rate Dropped

My National rate for Intermediate/Emerald Aisle just dropped today from $163 to $130 for September 17 through September 25! I'm SO happy about this! You might want to check with National if you have a car reserved.

I used Entertainment coupon for $20 off and Priceless vacation code.
My reservation is for eight days.
Base rate is $137.42.

My rate just went up $30 for Oct

his rate maybe different than other weeks in september,

just ran the first week and it came back base rate of 141$

second week base rate comes in at 129$

third week base rate comes in at 117$~ ( his week )

fourth week base rate comes in at 124$

the base rates for october seem to go much higher ......145$ first week, then 209$ second week.....

just keep checking they may well go down in the next month just like the september rates did

I just reserved a midsize with priceless code and entertainment coupon for 15 days (9/25-10/10) for a total of $265.78 including all taxes. Base rate is $118.70 per week and extra day is $19.78.

The full size total for same timeframe is $279.59 including all taxes.

Hopefully the prices will continue to drop

Wow these rates are great. I only hope that October starts to get better. When I rented in July the rate never changed and I paid the highest I've ever paid, so guess there's still hope.

I don;t get the priceless code...on a mini van I save 30% for an 9 day rental....on a fullsize car same number of days I save 10%????

Unfortunately the 30% price is still to high....but I can't figure out way they savings is that much higher..

Check different rental locations too! They seem to change things depending on where you rent. (ie. MCO vs. Dolphin vs CCC)

I think the answer to that is "supply and demand" or what they are running as specials with that contract id.

The code is 6600330 and I was able to get our 9day rental of a compact car down to $163 and change inc. all taxes and fees. Just entered this code in the contract id field.

We then reserved with quick rent.

I have an EA rate of $230 for an Intermediate for 8/27 - 9/6, Pricess code and Ent. coupon. Pretty good rate, but I can not get it lower at all. I wondering if it's because I'm returning it on a holiday? Any thoughts?

DARN, Ours is still $713.00 for a mini van Aug 12-23!! I should just buy a van and sell it when we leave!! hee hee. Oh well, I will keep trying. We need a van for DS and we need it to be a van we can pick up in the airport (no shuttle) so we are limited. I started this search months ago and keep my fingers crossed that prices would DROP as the time got nearer. WE have DOLLAR for $554.00 but I am still going to keep trying....it the little extras they trow in that get you!!! Thanks for the info.

My intermediate dropped another $1.88 and my full size dropped another $1.97 today from last night. Not big money, but every dollar helps. Yes I have two reservations because I'm trying to decide which size car I want.

Our rate for an Intermediate from Oct 3-9 dropped from $192 to $150 with the $20 off Entertainment Book coupon.

Just curious, do you need to show them anything for the "Priceless" code?
