National Emerald Aisle - can I use an upgrade coupon?

Hi all,

If I use a coupon does that mean I must use counter service? The reason I joined Emerald Aisle is to avoid that! Many coupons are available for 1 catagory upgrade. My Dec trip is fast approaching, and I would love an answer to this.

You have to go to the counter with an upgrade coupon and you can't use Emerald Aisle. You would pick off the size row you upgraded to. If you have the Entertainment Book or know someone who does, there is a $20 off coupon that you can use with Emerald Aisle and not go to the counter.
