National down again!!!!

OK, so I had National booked for a week in may @ 101.and some change...plugged in my dates again tonight and now it is down to 94.and some change for the week...everyone check your rates!!!!!!

Just checked mine and all is still the same. I just can't believe that my base weekly rate will drop below $105 a week (what is the OP's weekly base rate?). (DATES: April 29-May 14). I'm paying $259 for 16 days, intermediate price, entertainment coupon and priceless code. I'm happy with that, but will followup if it drops. My other rates are low too: I have a trip planned for July, September, and late October. So when I have to check rates, it can be time consuming, but worth it.

What rate do you currently have??? I punched in your dates and got $127.81...this is with the priceless code and the $20.00 off entertainment coupon. If you don't have one, you can go to their website and it gives you three free coupons to try...type in national car rental and print it out.

WOW... So ok. I had reserved w/Enterprise with a $20 coupon code for a Intermediate(cavalier) for 7 days. $185 post tax/fees.


Well I was checking all this Hub Bub over National. Using my Entertainment book... I booked a Fullsize(Regal) for the same dates... $124 post tax/fees. Upon doing the math, I've realized that I love the Dis Boards. hahahaha. Now I get to "watch" my Reservation. LOL

The rate had dropped $22 for the week, but it wouldn't use the Priceless coupon....if it had it would have knocked off another $12 or so. It still used the entertainment, but any time I tried using the Priceless, it just disregarded that I had entered anything in the field. Any ideas?

Mine went down again today. I went from $149. to $134. for 4/5-4/14, intermediate EA.

This is now a game for me. I started out with a rese from Alamo for $199. for 7 days. I then switched to National because all of you who provided the coupon & contract codes (thanks). I got a better rate and 2 extra days.

I check my rates at least once a day now. I feel like I should be in therapy or something! hee heee Geeesss, I kept telling myself that if I could get down to $150 I would stop but I can't.......4/1 can't come fast enough.

don't put it in the coupon slot...put it in the contract id slot...see if that works.

It was still less than it had been before, so I just won't worry about paying the concession fees that Pricelss seems to eliminate. Because National lowered the rate I'm paying $22 less than I thought I wouldm, so yes, it worked out okay! I do wonder if the Priceless jig is up though.
