National Code- 8572967

Can someone help me out???
I used this code ( with no coupon code) for my April rental of a minivan and got an incredible rate of $156.00 for 5 days

I got the code from the transportation forum, and don't know what it is for, but it saved me almost $350.00 . Too good to be true?

Can someone tell me what it is for?(corporate id?) Is it for a travel agent?

Any Canadians tried to use it?

Much,much,much posting about this contract ID. It is a complimentary code from a company called Travel Solutions. I have not read any posts from people using the code and then being declined when they pick up the car or questioned or asked to show proof. Many posters are nervous to use it and many just don't want to take the chance. You have to make a decision on that one for yourself.

Also, some people seem to be unsure about the insurance end of it since this code inludes all your insurance at no additional charge...ie...what if you get in an accident and you were no "legally" supposed to use the code. Personally, I am covered regradless by my own personal auto policy so that part of it does not worry me. But again I guess this one is also a decision that you need to make.

I have used the code and have a great rate. It also seems that being an EMerald Club Member is a great part of this in that you bypass the counter and any additional paperwork and proceed directly to the lot to pick up your vehicle.

I am an Emerald club memeber too, so I think I'll give it a try. I am covered with my credit card as far as insurance, so I was just making sure they wern't asking to show any id.

I have booked a midsize for Aug 5th through 14th. I got a rate of $191.00 tax & insurance included. I too am a Emerald Club member... we will see how it goes! (I have a backup through Dollar of a SUV for $259.00 tax incl, no insurance).

I just booked using this code, it is saving me $100. We too are covered with the insurance so that is not a worry. I figure if it is a problem when we go to pick it up we will still have our Magical Express vouchers.

the 57 was the complimentary code .....but that is now invalid or has been pulled .....

both codes were from Travel Solutions ( a travel agency ) some have said the 67 was for employees

on various boards people have posted they have not had problems when checking the cars out using these codes but as with all good discounts that may change if national begins to see a pattern

We used that code (8572987) when we were there in March along with the coupon from National for $20. and everything went fine. We joined Emerald Club before we went and used the Emerald Aisle because we reserved a mid siz ( got a full size). I even called National after I booked the reservation to ask if everything was ok with my reservation using that code and coupon and they said it was good. I used it to reserve a van for a friend that's going this week so I'll post later and let you know how she did. It is a good deal with the insurance included.
