Hi all been looking on these boards for couple weeks now and thought it was about time i signed up. my question is, i am looking to go to dlp in july (surprise for my girlfriends birthday) and have seen national coach holidays have 4d/3n deal with 2 day 2 park hopper tickets staying at kyriad for £299 each. was wondering if any one has a) used national holidays to goto dlp b) stayed at the kyriad before? (whats it like)
i have been looking on few sites (expedia etc) and this seems to be a good price compared to flying does this seem like good value?

Thanks for your advice in advance:thumbsup2

I have stayed at the Kyriad & its a nice hotel, rooms aren't massive but they suited our needs, breakfast was a good continental selection.

Haven't been with National Coach but have done it by coach with the school & I personally wouldn't go by coach again, it took ages to get there. I prefer to drive as I can get the travel times to suit me enabling me to make the most of my trip. Judging by the 2 day pass they are offering it will be 2 days taken up with travelling unless a trip to Paris is in the deal.

If the price is good for you, go for it:thumbsup2

Hi
We've stayed at the Kyriad a few times, really like it the rooms are basic but very nice and clean. Would definitely stay there again.

As for the coach trip if you can't drive and flying is expensive I would go for it. Have you compared it with other coach operators that run trips? I think somebody recommended one on here the other day, just so you get an idea what others are charging. - just found the thread:

If you feel brave enough to attempt to plan it all seperately I think somebody got a Megabus ticket to Paris for £5 the other day on here too.

Where are you leaving from? In the past in our 'younger' days we've been on European coach trips and we loved them. Ok you're stuck on the bus with the same people for 24 hours (we're from the Midlands) but it was just part of the adventure. We had plenty of stops and if you're going by ferry you'll obviously get a longer break on there too.

Have a great time, I'm sure your gf will love the surprise.
