Where is the best place to pick up a car from National Car Rental? Some friends of ours are using DVC points to stay at Saratoga Springs. They need it when they leave Walt Disney World.

You can also pick-up Alamo there, If you belong to Costco, go to their site and click Travel and then Rental Car for coupons and discounts.

They also have a shuttle service that will pick you up from Saratoga Springs and take you to pick up the car.

Just put in the word Florida as your destinations and when you ask for a price it will give you places in Florida to pick.....you will see it then. or you could put in the code of the place I listed above ORLR02

speaking of National, I just checked my rates for our Dec. rental and it dropped 15.55. So hopefully next time i check it will be even less. At least it's under 200.00 for the week.

National and Alamo are also at the Dolphin, but there is no shuttle that will bring you there.

We just picked up our car at Buena Vista Palace which is across th street from SSR which is where we are staying now. We were going to walk over (about half mile) but we had lunch with a friend and then she dropped us off. It was so quick and easy!

Thanks. I thought it was fairly close. Can you tell me what it is closest to in Downtown Disney (which store) so I have an idea of where it is at.

Oh sure..if you are leaving SSR it is just past the Reddy Creek Fire Dept. so it is before you get to the light at Downtown Disney. I would have never thought about picking up here if I had not asked on the boards. I was planning on doing the shuttle to the CCC. I think they told me that if I was walking down to get it I would go out by Congress Park there a security exit there.

I knew peeps would want to know how i did this trick!!!!

I just pulled up my reservation to confirm the codes i used -- did you know you can "stack" coupon codes with National????

Ok 1st off I am AAA member so the CONTRACT number is

I am also an airmiles collector and there was a place to select that as well

then under COUPON i found this one thru a kind soul here for $35.00 OFF a weekly rental

HOWEVER i just pulled it up to check it out and it is coming out a fair higher so i would say GET ON IT NOW!!!!!!

There are a bunch of other numbers that popped up once i entered these but i only entered these 2 numbers myself.

They are picking us up from the what ever the heck it is called (car care centre??)
