National Car discount and coupon?

We want to use National to rent our car in September. They have a coupon on their website, but all of the website coupons say they "cannot be used with any other discounts or coupons" or something to that effect. So does that mean if we have a "contract ID" code for AAA, we can't use the coupon from National as well? It sounds from reading this board that you CAN use both - anyone that can vouch for that? Thanks!

I have used 2 different items numerous times. I don't know if now if the merger with Alamo has changed their system. In the past if it went through then that is the rate that I have gotten.

You can use a a contract code and a coupon code, but you can't use two contract codes or two coupon codes.

I booked w/ National for the first week of October using the AAA contract code and the $20 weekly rental coupon currently on the National site. I also have a two car class upgrade code, but we don't really need a bigger car so I opted for the discount instead. If you can use the upgrade, you can print out the coupon here:
